Wrong, But Valid Free season
Story Architect brings Allie back to an approved piece of the story. The problem is that it’s the wrong one. What looks legitimate on the surface turns out to be a reproducible continuity failure, and Allie has to resist both the system’s confidence and ChatGPT’s plausible explanations long enough to prove what actually happened.
What Counts Free season
If more than one approved state can exist, which one should Story Architect trust? Allie stops treating “approved” and “current” as the same thing and defines the release standard the system actually has to meet. Once that standard is fixed, the decision becomes unavoidable. Story Architect isn’t ready to launch.
Choosing Blind Free season
A narrow repair changes the result. It still doesn’t make it right. When rollback breaks the newest-is-best shortcut, Allie finally reaches the deeper problem: Story Architect is trying to choose the correct continuation before it actually knows which state holds authority.
Authority First Free season
The selector doesn’t need another exception. It needs the right question answered first. Allie reopens the architecture just far enough to establish current continuation authority before boundary selection begins, then builds a repair contract designed to stop the fix from growing into another uncontrolled rewrite.
Earned Trust Free season
For the first time, the repair survives two histories that demand opposite answers. Forward progress returns to the newer state. Intentional rollback returns to the older one. The same rule handles both. It’s the first success Allie doesn’t have to explain away, but one untested condition still stands between Story Architect and release.
After I Leave Free season
Story Architect finally works while Allie is there. Then she leaves. A fresh session rebuilds the wrong state as current before the repaired selector ever gets a chance to help, exposing one last broken handoff. The progress is real, the launch is still blocked, and the next problem is finally narrow enough to carry forward on purpose.
